Positioned at the foot of the Kentish Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, 5 minutes from the Channel Tunnel, The Drum is a traditional 18th century Inn built in 1708. The Inn is renowned for it’s fine selection of real ales and a traditional ‘pub menu’ prepared mainly from locally sourced ingredients.

In addition, The Drum Inn is also the ideal location base for ‘under canvas’ campers, caravans and motor homes, providing full facilities to make your stay a memorable one.

Camping

With France on our doorstep, we are the closest campsite to the Channel Tunnel. Along with the beautiful Kent countryside and attractions, we believe we provide the perfect camping and holiday destination for everyone. Our campsite is easily accessible, leaving the M20 motorway at Junction 11 and following the signs to Stanford North, just a few minutes drive away.

The site is spacious and is rated as three stars by EnjoyEngland.com.

Please read notes before booking:

-The yellow pending dates have some availablity on certain pitches. If there is no EHU option tick box showing we don't have any availability for it.

-Once you have selected your dates and requirements, choose the paypal option for ALL major credit card payments- you do not need to have a paypal account.

- It is 7 night maximum stay.

- You must arrive before 10pm on your check-in date (8pm on Sundays and bank holidays)

- There are no restrictions on departure times

Our Menu.


Rather than write the words homemade and handmade which you would find all over the menu, we would rather take this opportunity now, to let you know that our menu is almost entirely crafted by our team on site. A lot of pride & effort goes into the creation of our dishes,

A 10% discretionary service charge is added to the bill, if our team can help you in any way please ask. Our aim is to make your experience with us the best! Let us know if anyone has any allergies or specific dietary requirements, we have a separate menu that caters for coeliac allergies.
